So I'm one of the lucky ones that is in an exceptionally good position despite Covid, and all it's really done is make me save money by not eating out as much.



Loans are a tool. If you can invest and make more money than the interest on the loan then you are getting paid to take the loan.


I tip my hat to you. I don't know if people in your earning tier are the ones who are gonna run up the obscene level of debt I believe will eventually exist.

One day I should see if I can get some quantitative numbers regarding new debt post February/March.

Your situation is a result of the widespread panic that the media started and continues to peddle. The panic benefits pharma companies so they will probably keep it up.

I have debt. Home, cars, etc but none of it Covid related for me. If anything I make more money now because I dont commute anymore.

Ive got 600 bucks on a credit card.

0 because of covid.

0 college debt with a four year degree and 2 more years out of an 8 year.

Ive been pretty "lucky" with debt so far. Or so ive been told. Personally I think its been because of good decision making. Ive still gotta get a car and a house of my own though but that wont happen until ive moved.

It's probably comforting to concoct conspiracy theories rather than address the impending crisis head on. I can see how this led many to follow someone like Trump who offered a welcome resistance to the realities of a world dealing with COVID.

80% of media advertising revenue comes from pharma companies. Its blatantly obvious.

If you drop an ice cream cone on a sidewalk in summer, it melts. You dont need a video and a judge and jury to prove it.

You need to be careful driving for Uber. In KC we used to require a permit for each uber driver just like a taxi driver. You had to meet certain insurance requirements in order to legally drive. Drivers would submit their insurance paperwork to the Investigator we had assigned to Uber. He would contact the insurance company to ensure it's valid insurance and to ensure the insurance actually covers accidents. Turns out a good portion of people don't let their insurance companies know they're driving for Uber. Standard driving insurance typically doesn't cut it. A lot of applicants were dropped by their car insurance company or forced to pay for the correct insurance. Just a heads up if you get into an accident you may have some issues if you're going to, currently driving for or coming from a trip.
