I think most Trump supporters never were genuine "cultists", and I would say most of those non-cultist supporters have come to terms with the idea that another Trump term wouldnt help "their" cause all that much, probably even be a net negative.

The verdict of the election is quite clear: a repudiation of Trump, the erratic and incompetent chief executive - but not a repudiation of his politics. On the contrary, the election can be seen as a repudiation of the Democrats' embrace of far-left policies and touting of brazen power grabs.
