Should Ohio be broken up? Just count Cincy, Cbus, Cleveland, akron, toledo, and Dayton as its own thing and then the hill people can get like 5 or 6 of our ECs.

Unfortunately, it's not based on citizen population. So California has something like 6 million green card holders, illegal aliens, and others who are not Americans at all weighting their EV totals. This is an absolutely massive number, the largest in the nation by several times. I believe Texas is #2 on non-citizens weighting the EV table, at 1.7 million.

There are definitely issues with EV distributions. But as a whole, I'd 100% not support "forcing states" to use them differently. How EVs are cast falls within the powers of the states, and outside federal jurisdiction.

Republicans are just mad there are states they have lost forever while there is actual possibility of them losing texas and georgia in a single election. These things should be a given but I guess we just gatta find a way to fuck things up huh.
