Don't pass laws you wouldn't want the police to kill over, because at the end of the day, every law carries the threat of police violence. Cops tried to enforce a victimless crime, and the victim feared for his life and fled. It's unfortunate that his haste and fear led directly to his demise, but takes nothing away from the fact that there would have been no flight and therefore the death that came at the end of it, if police could stopped being bothered enough to fuck with a brotha.

Tbh police were probably trying to stop since he was on a Revel on a sidewalk in park view.... Revels top out at 30 mph while the speed limit on some stretches on the street of Georgia Ave in that are are 25 so to be doing that on the sidewalks which are super narrow there and busy with neighborhood folks is actually reckless. I wonder if anyone would have even noticed him if he just rode in the street like what is the norm for the Revels

Revels aren’t no shitty lime scooter. Shame the current situation made the guy feel the need to flee and died.
