A lot of the meds are made to slow you down. Anti-convulsants used for off-label uses, like Depakote, Lithium, Tegretol. Those can have nasty effects after long-term use. Anti-psychotics/major neuroleptics shut the brain off, older ones like haldol and thorazine cause all kinds of involuntary movements, newer ones like zyrexa and risperdal cause man boobs and metabolic syndrome. No winning.

sad fact is while Kanye has a lot of insane ideas he has a lot of really good creative impulses too. u cant filter creativity however you like. if he wants to rap, and design clothes, and organize church services, and get black men out of jail, and try to create a utopian pocket of society, and whatever the fuck else he wants to i say let him try. until he's demanding fans give up their worldly possessions to join his death cult its not really an issue to me, nor is his mental state.
