i just dont see the distinction as much of a valid thing. we're so polarized and actual legislation is so rare that 99% of what they do is base pandering. senate/house get paid to literally do almost nothing. imagine any other job where your efficiency rate is 1%.

I don't even play WoW, but seeing the updates about Shadowlands is pretty lulz.

to be fair it’s smart they’re doing this. the current expansion isnt called “Beta for Azeroth” by the players for no reason

What do you do when many of the traditional mechanisms of accountability vanish? What do you do when a significant portion of the country supports a corrupt madman as president no matter what?

It produces some flailing moves by the people who care about democracy... but let's not focus on the reaction to madness more than the madness itself.

What updates are you thinking are lulzy? I heard that WoW is a lot more RNG than in the past

they delayed the release because the game isnt even close to being finished yet. same thing happened with the current xpac but they just released an unfinished product with BfA. at least they’re learning

More so just the community response to some of the things they originally proposed. To excellence's earlier point, I think it's good that Blizzard heeded the community feedback and are delaying things in order to make changes.

the doublethink is real. trump obliterated every single standard to which politicians used to be held in just 4 short years, but somehow the very people who act like all his craziness, incompetence, negligence, and self-dealing is fine still want to apply the former standards to everyone else. do those morons genuinely not realise how stupid that is?!
