I've explained the facts of Russiagate to a couple Trump supporters IRL and they just aren't capable of comprehending. They act confused, question the information, and then fall back on the debunked cult talking points. 98% of Trump supporters in this country don't know that Trump's campaign manager met with a Russian intelligence officer and shared internal campaign polling data in the midst of a Russian attack on our election.

It was indeed a “hoax” in the sense that the original mandate, according to the authorizing document, was [1] “allegations of links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the Trump campaign,” but we’re also mandated with [2] “any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation."
Your argument is it’s not a hoax because although they literally didn’t find shit to do with the original mandate, [1] they uncovered some other random crimes along the way [2]
The problem with that is we now know that they already knew the original mandate [1] wasn’t true, but went forward with the investigation anyway, in an attempt to distract from Clinton’s private email server scandal in 2016.
Yep, their worldview would collapse in on itself if they examined it honestly.
