it isnt really about reading. Doesnt he shows actual footage? Can you tell me why I shouldnt trust this guy? I dont know him yet, nor did I watch his videos yet.
It shows actual footage of completely legal activity. So it shows nothing of real significance.

Yeah that answers it. You aren't allowed to say "come vote for anybody and I'll pay for $10"
Here's my insight on this. Are there individual canvassers and political field staff who have tried to get away with paying for signatures, voter reg cards, etc.? Absolutely yes. Every political field coordinator in the country knows there will always be a few trouble areas every campaign season. But, by and large, these people are caught and prosecuted because all of us who work in the industry are quick to turn them in.
Now, I would expect that Omar has a campaign manager, a consulting firm, and a number of subcontractor organizations working under the consultant with their own staff. This is typical. In an hourly pay scenario, there would generally be a quota attached to number of signatures, number of reg cards, number of contacts, number of doors knocked, etc. Some metric to ensure people are working. So of course there are always a few stupid people who will try to make quota by offering someone a buck to sign the petition. They are almost universally caught and fired in their first week of work. No consultant or subcontractor in the country is going to be instructing anyone to do anything illegal, and they are going to be extremely protective of their industry. So if Project Veritas finds one or two people doing shady things, it wouldn't surprise me. But it
would surprise me if it were more than a few ballots they tried to buy before they got busted and fired. Any attempt to frame this as some sort of systemic issue happening everywhere is ignorant at the very least.
