Can't wait to see if the Republicans try and weasel their way into justifying why Trump should nominate someone immediately, despite blocking Obama from doing the same thing with way, way more time before an upcoming election.

but we really had no idea how far that had progressed, or how long she had. The prognosis was usually about a year life expectancy with < 3% 5-year rate for her age, and that was about 20 months ago so she beat the odds, though I guess you have to factor in the increased vigilance in detection for her high profile catching it earlier so I'd take actuarial numbers with a grain of salt.
at any rate, sad news, she was the most respected and accomplished champion for her cause, and her death is basically the end of the 2nd wave of feminism

McConnell already said he'll fill it. Trump is going to get his justice confirmed, only question is whether it's before or after election day.

Republicans have no principles. The voters don't care about hypocrisy if it favors their side.

Why would he/they wait? That would be insane. They are well poised.

If Trump picks three SCOTUS judges and in light of all he has done so far, he has been yugely successful by many metrics.
