The contrary, they are the only ones able to make your country *ONE* by copying what is in Europe since 50 years, at least, already.
They are the ones who can really protect your private property in the long run.

Just watch out USA eviction rate or homeless to understand. Damned duffman316shittopics... I'm would not be surprised if there's more seizures in US than China LOL. (in absolute numbers)

Bernie pushes policies that would make a lot of Europeans raise an eyebrow. He is fairly left even by European standards. AOC has policies that are VERY radical from a European perspective.

Bernie
-A wealth tax which only exists in 4 European countries. Sanders would have higher rates (1-8% sliding scale) than any other European country
-Most first world countries have a multi-payer system. Even in single-payer systems, those are typically administered by the states/provinces. Bernie wants to federalize it completely.
-Supports corporate tax rates that are higher than anywhere else in Europe
-Tuition free college at all levels. This would be the equivalent of people who graduate your "Hauptschule" going to University. Obviously that's inefficient from your perspective but we don't herd our children into groups.
-Financial transaction tax (few European countries have this). His rate (0.5% on stock) would be significantly higher than what I've seen.
-Supports worker owned cooperatives

AOC (Has all of Bernie's proposals PLUS)
-Subscribes to Modern Monetary Theory which is extremely radical by European standards
-Significantly increased immigration caps and abolition of ICE. ICE handles internal immigration affairs and CBP handles the border. Again, this is extremely radical.
-Has unrealistic approaches to Green energy. I think once she has more years under her belt, she'll come up with something more realistic but I don't think any mainstream Green party in Europe (ones that have seats) have proposals like hers.

From what I've seen, I think Bernie would be on the left side of SPD. AOC would most certainly be in Die Linke

I don't think federalizing the whole system would make many Europeans raise an eyebrow, even if that isn't the system they personally live under. The UK is usually ranked as the world's best and it's a single payer system.

As for the others, I don't really think those things should be a deal breaker either. They're almost certainly not going to get passed, or even get a majority of support within the Democrats. He's asking for 15 so he can settle at 12, but even so, our current system is almost certainly less efficient than even Bernie's plans for things like education or healthcare. I'd rather have free at all levels education than our current system, for example.

Not a big deal, don't forget you are decades late regarding equalities, and they would never be able to fully implement this and you know it. It's only a direction that can be corrected after 4 years.

What is your problem with worker owned cooperatives ?
