It's just an academic term that refers to the very things you've been exposed to when you listened to SJW rhetoric on white supremacy and racism. Rather than looking at communities of color and noting their less-than-desirable measurable outcomes and concluding that people either aren't working hard enough, are self-sabotaging, or that they've developed a maladpative culture, a CRT perspective instead looks at the systemic, sociological factors of oppression, racism, and the legacy of white supremacy as being the critical pillar that is at the center of these issues.

Wait a second, isnt that the core of this whole debate - the question if present-day racism as well as the echos of white supremacy are at the center of the measurable underperformance of blacks, or if they are just one out of multiple main pillars/pirmary explanatory factors. Can't be both at once.

Nobody worth taking seriously will dispute that the legacy of white supremacy is contributing to black underperformance and one explanatory factor. The central premise of CRT, however, is that this legacy and perpetuation of racism is THE dominant factor which explains most of the measurable misery of blacks.

Yes, but I don't think your belief that people will hold the importance of systemic racism in their considerations. Most people unconvinced of this position do so because "Racism is over".

It's simply wrong then. India has issues of discrimination relating to caste that predates the arrival of the british. The present day discrimination by caste has nothing to do with white supremacy. And this isn't just in india, it includes the countries Indians have immigrated to and this caste based discrimination carried over as part of the culture.
