sc2 beginner = bronze, i think its same for league. and honestly a national politician gamer girl getting out of bronze is a decent accomplishment lol.

You could get silver just by playing single player on normal and beating the game, like that's enough to get you out of bronze in multi. Bronze is like if you haven't even played single player and don't understand that the point of the match is not to build one of every building.

This talk of SC2 makes me want to play a match lol.

here's a radical thought: maybe she enjoys playing that game, and actually does so in her free time.

as long as she doesn't start promoting certain brands or industries that sponsor her political career, i wouldn't be too worried about her social media posts, and the 'pandering' angle doesn't make much sense, since she pretty much has the younger generation covered with her actual policies - and the minority of young alt-right edgelord incels have already decided she's the devil anyway...

yeah in sc2 it was really easy to get out of bronze, but harder to get gold, and HARD to get diamond. then of course master/grandmaster were hard af, unless u went on a tear with no losses or something.

i played 4v4 with a buddy, and in all of my placement matches i went with no gas terran before 30 mins, just all marines from barracks with no attachments and rushed them at opponents. about 10 mins in i'd ask for a bit of gas to get a few upgrades and such. i was placed in master lol.

i have had a hankering to play sc2 for a while now but dont want to wait to DL the game and forget to overnight it.

Bronze-Gold was varying degrees of "I don't know how to play".

Platinum understood the importance of builds, but lacked the ability to effectively execute and missed easy timings.

Diamond was Masters with macro mistakes.

Masters was the actual game.

I still play teams. I got Diamond in 1v1 and got team masters multiple times. I got those masters a few years back though, with solid teammates. I think the level of competitiveness has elevated with the last few patches, like i can't hold my own with masters nowadays. Too much micro-ing, too high of a APM's, playing against these guys you have to constantly put out multiple fires. I play on a laptop i bought for school that can barely run SC2 on minimum so definitely cant compete with some of these people. It's still a fun game though.

i never played HOTS, only WOL. go to i think mid plat early on terran only. then took a break and came back playing only random and got stuck in gold because i never practiced just queued for competitive play. ive heard the game's rather broken now adays in 1v1 but don't even watch it so have no clue.

they do that to everyone. if anything it shows equal treatment
