Its a complicated subject. I dont know of any corporations that are decentralized enough physically to be independent of nation states. also Supply chains are pretty fragile so it could be argued most corporations are beholden to the U.S. to police the world. if one is cynical then it could be argued that the US is beholden to corporations. Either way, geopolitics are important to corporate strategy.
it would be interesting trying to create an antifragile multinational that was agnostic to geopolitics and see what that would look like.
