Lel. You moved because schools removed xmas decoration? I think your dad may have lied to you because he was ashamed he couldnt afford your old home anymore after the layoff. Even funnier that your nephews pranked you 20 years ago and you didn't even bother to check if they told you a lie.

We left Toronto cuz my dad did not like his way of life being changed to please people just entering Canada aka my dad was also racist at the time so did not wanna live near blacks.. but that back fired on him when oldest sister married a black man and has 7 kids 😁😂 rent in Toronto was cheaper in 90s fyi

I love when not being allowed to force your way on others is equated to losing the right to your way.

You don't understand. SCHOOLS were removing xmas decoration. The one place everyone agree religion should be forced on people. It's those damn muslims again, I tell ya.

This is not about forcing your way onto others, this is about newcomers accommodating to the rules and culture in place instead of trying to change their host country and rejecting its culture since day 1.
You dont like living in a Christian or secularized country where christmas is celebrated and gays are accepted instead of being thrown from the nearest rooftop? Perfectly fine. But if you feel this way, then dont fucking migrate into a Christian/secularized country and expect them to change their ways in their country for you.

Yeah, let's just throw out that whole "bill of rights" and "freedom of religion" thing. They need to learn that we're a Christian country!

They are free to exercise their muslim faith. In private. They are also free to not participate in christmas celebrations, or to stage their own religious holiday celebrations in their neighborhood or friend circle if they feel like it.
What they are not entitled to, however, is that Christians living in a majority Christian country where Christian holidays are deeply embedded into the culture of the land throw all of this overboard just because of them.

Furthermore, it must be noted that freedom of religion does not cover sharia law, which in fact is in violation of the laws of every modern country and also in violation of countless basic human rights.

Nobody is asking the majority to throw anything out. You are literally equating not being able to force it on kids in public schools with "throwing all of it overboard". You aren't supposed to just make the arguments we all know are stupid. You're supposed to dance around and make snide remarks. It's no fun when you just embrace the stupid idea.

Traditional Islam doesn't have teachings to respect the laws of the state. Their way of life isn't compatible with enlightenment civilization.

They are literally renaming 'Christmas' into "Winter Holidays" and shit like that. Happens in Europe too btw. There have also been cases where HR in corporations urged managers to no longer wish their employees a "Happy Christmas" since that would be "culturally insensitive".
