The level of division right now rivals that of the civil war. The country healed after the conflict was resolved and the same can happen today. But the true wrong must be encountered and the parties responsible held accountable.

The Democrats are the source of the problem. They have stoked flames of hatred and lowered the political discourse into mass dehumanization of swaths of the population. They use crises as tools to expand their power at the expense of the populace, and go so far to create crises for this very reason. There will be no peace until their propaganda is shunned en masse.

Right wing protests never lead to looting or the normalization of violence. Right now you are hearing teenagers saying that violence is okay because it is still better than “Trump”. And these ideas were fed to them by the political machine. This is inexcusable.
