I think prostitution is as old as humans and making it illegal only worsens the life of a true prostitute. Legalizing it would regulate it, make it legitimate and ultimately make that world safer for those who choose that particular profession.

By making money from posting nudes by a consenting adult 18yrs or older, isnt it true that they have a right to do so and is actually much safer?

Noone should have the right to decide what anyone wants to do with their own body.

Making drugs illegal does the opposite of deterring people from using and the same is true for prostitution.

People are always going to find a way to consume drugs and people are always going to find a way to make money by selling their bodies.

Why not make things as safe and clean as possible instead of allowing the black market to regulate and rule?

The numbers don't lie. Penalizing people has the OPPOSITE affect. If as much money and help was provided to people in terms of counseling and therapy as there is in building prisons, our society would be much better off.

But wait.....prisons are a business....so it will never happen.

The thing is that if you're a girl and you were an escort 10-20 years ago and since got out of that business, it's likely noone is able to find out you were.

If you post nudes and amateur porn on the web, that shit stays there forever. I don't think many people who do that are aware of that. It's gonna be ten times as hard to transition into a different career.

I know 2 girls from HS that do shows for money on that website. Had to delete one off FB because was constantly spamming advertisements to go see her jerk off for some money.

This is what respek for wahmen looks like under 3rd wave feminism

So i just heard about this trend of people selling nudes of themselves online via onlyfams. Call me prude but i think this highly innappropriate 🧐. I mean sure its fine if you want to be a porn star but it's going to cause problems for you at work and in social circles as it should and you ought to take responsibility for that. What do our resident pardians make of onlyfans?

so wait, they fired the girl for what she did off work, but the employees harrassing her at work were not fired? that doesn't make much sense to me.

Is the normalization of prostitution. All the young people are going sex work it seems. They think they can take naked pictures and get money from neckbeards.

The 'E-girl' is the most negative cultural development i can think of and the last needed thing, but it is just the digital form of the oldest profession, and a lot safer.

But the chicks who do this are prostitutes and will complain about the stigma attached to it.

Stigmas attached to sex work are a functional social stratification, just like the stigmas associated with drug use. There are certain things cultures should discourage through culture.

Instagram is the same. You can buy a date with a 'model' on there.

Even this buzz feed article is laid in for more hits on her page and advertisement for a future sexy mechanic Web thing. She talks about taking pics in her uniform and on the job site. Awkward.

you might want to look up what "prostitution" means, or at the very least calm down a bit with the slippery slope logic there.

I always find it so funny when a female "fitness model" is posting pics of her workout, and after 1 or 2 reps, the camera zooms in on her ass, tits or camel toe. :D

and i find it funny that you are so familiar with fitness models' workout videos to have noticed that kind of thing. not that there's anything wrong with it, but i honestly could not have told you that. then again, i never had a social media account, so i guess it's not surprising that my exposure to that kind of media is rather limited.

its the new way that people are monetizing on instagram. instagram mad it less profitable to simply partner with products, because they removed the like counter. so "influencers" got less money for pushing products.

as a result many have moved from semi nude risque pictures to full on nudes on onlyfans. its also a way for women to do porn without the hassle of studios which are notoriously abusive.

while i dont think the feminist "its my body" angle is very compelling anything that cuts down on porn studios is a good thing. basically the casting couch and low budget studios are dying, and that's good, while the better towards women larger studios still have a market. the horror stories that used to come out of shitty studios were horrendous. and the "well they know what they signed up for" argument is bullshit, these studios would take advantage of vague contracts with verbal agreements that were not kept. this is akin to rape or sexual assault.

Hasn't the internet been around long enough for people to know how it works?

In my estimation it would be very difficult to find someone of the age of majority that is posting nudes that isnt aware of the ramifications of having whatever they've posted in the interweb forever.

My only concern really is the fact that someone can get fired for something they do outside of work that does harm anyone in anyway shape or form. That's literal bullshit.

e/ does NOT harm

e// I also shouldn't have said 'only' concern, but it is definitely of great concern.

You'd be surprised buddy.

Also, it does harm the reputation of their work place.

Sex for money = prostitution. Any sex work is a watered down version of this.

She made pornography on company property and used their uniforms. They could have been mean to her instead of using a "bless your heart" tone and trying to make this a teachable moment.

Harms a reputation? Sounds like a personal problem that needs a hurt feelings report, buddy. Unless they are harming someone else, what someone does on their own time is of no concern to anyone else. At all.

Friend becoming later an "enemy", being jealous or whatever, it's the main reason IMO.
Logo(s) on uniform is direct report from any small deck hater who will search and find it on google, she was a bit naive.

What the fuck this topic is doing here ?
