Since you have all those guns it stands to reason that it is impossible that corporations now have more power than the people.
there's a big difference between "the people having no power" and "the people having a disproportionately low amount of power".
the large amount of guns in the US essentially means that the plutocrats have to tread more carefully and cant overplay their hand too much. it also means that all elites in the country have to fear a breakdown of the social order far more than their peers in countries with stricter gun laws. thus, American elites have a strong incentive to make sure that the masses have their basic needs covered, even if they otherwise wouldnt give a fuck about them.
