I can't take people seriously who believe there's some person pulling the strings behind everything, whether it's Trump cultists or Bernie Bros. We're almost 4 years removed from Trump's take over of the Republican party... and people still think political parties have a ton of power.
The reality is that once black voters had a significant say in the primary, Biden did well. After that, he was the clear frontrunner on the moderate side. Then, the other low polling moderates dropped out and endorsed the candidate who they agreed with and thought could win, followed by the decent polling moderate dropping out after Biden cleaned up on Super Tuesday.
It's not rocket science. There's simple explanations for what has happened so far. Once Biden became the moderate frontrunner, he's destroyed Bernie, because people think he can win, and because the Democratic party isn't full-blown democratic socialist.
and i can't take people seriously who are dishonestly trying to push reasonable arguments, based on pretty obvious conclusions, on the conspiratorial fringe, just because they don't like the message.
the fact that corporate owned politicians will always pick their donors over ther constituents is well documented and undeniable - there's nothing conspiratorial about that. people who uncritically accept that messaging should really get their heads checked imo.
biden got some pretty significant endorsements. if you look at his actual political record, it makes very little sense that minorities would support him rather than sanders. and while i agree that the democratic PARTY isn't 'full-blown democratic socialist', if you look at the specific CORE policies (money in politics, universal healthcare, affordable education, wages, taxation of the rich and corporations, forever wars...), the american people (including republicans btw) are much more left than you're trying to suggest.
but it's not really shocking how that is just a secondary issue, since american politics is not about substance or integrity, it's about labels, endorsements, and propaganda - so i guess it's not that surprising when people keep arguing accordingly...
