People lose motivation in a class-sealed society, where most of the jobs are locked and you have to act like a bitch to get the rank above. Not the same conditions than the 50' for sure. It goes far beyond that anyway, whole democracy is at risk.

Yeah, it must be rough not being able to quid pro quo the secretary anymore.

Who says im getting upset learn to fucking read

When you refer to someone as a "piece of shit", and then follow it up with an expletive laden tirade, you're upset.

"Pay a living wage" is so ambiguous that it invariably means "pay more". Even if we try to be specific, and say that we mean the amount necessary for a single income earner to support a family of four, which is in itself arbitrary, we're left trying to decide which state to use as a benchmark, and which communities or community within that state.

You can have an opinion on something or someone without being upset. I can label someone as a pos and still be happy hehe.

any poll of people judging how they can make their lives better will be garbo.

the truth is before 18 you're fairly at the whims of your parents, they set the norms for education and worth ethic. then after 18 you can change and improve but not that much, at least not quickly. but the only reliable strategy is to work hard, apply yourself to learning, and keep moving forward. whether you're a rapper, a line cook, or a hooker. its the same path to success.

This has been studied to death in trait psychology. Hardwork is around or just below the highest indicator of success, like non morons needed a plethora of studies to figure this out. IQ is the highest. Turns out about 50% of all the factors can be related to how hard you work and not being a moron, go figure, I always thought it was the patriarchy appointing the CEOs.

Did you put in an extra 1? I've had a job since I was 10, if you live in the western world you are influenced by all sorts of things and have access to education, social programs, community programs, etc. I mean you are an idiot but only a relative one, you are still smart enough to understand hard work.

im not sure what you're trying to say exactly. did you come from a hard working family?

i came from a couple of functional alcoholics who were in and out of jobs my entire childhood. this made me a hard worker by example of what not to do. and my father who i didnt live with has always been a hard worker, so the contrast made my path clear for success. but in a household where only bad work ethics are an example can lead a lot of people to that being normalized. education, social programs, etc all follow the same normative path, mothers on welfare teach children this is normal and how to scam the system. poor people too proud to take assistance teach their children in kind.

but yeah not sure what if any point you're trying to make. seems like you just have a happy trigger finger trying to call me an idiot without much of a reason otherwise to post besides bragging about having a job at 10.

I'm trying to say that before 18 you are very much not at the whims of your parents. Hence what I highlighted, and the rest addresses why. Not that complex.

so your parents sucked, but you still hard a job at 10? how does your personal experience discount what i said? did you have someone else in your life that caused you to be a hard worker?

also did you not read the part where i said hard work and dedication are the way to success? because wtf is this if you did read that?
