Cute vid, but seems it was only created to get people to follow the golden rule
speaking more scientifically...
let's say "the big bang" happened. all mass was pulled together and finally exploded creating the universe as we know it.
i could accept that as possible, but i have 1 question of it.
where'd that mass come from to be able to gather?
other theories are more fun, but even science can't answer basic questions on creation.
what? and why?
religion is very much like law "imo". meant to be explored instead of being complacent.
for many, religion is order. it's also the #1 preventative of death anxiety, to your point.
so even if you feel you don't need it, many might.
i believe you may have become complacent in religion and found what you know about it to be lacking in sense. i say this because the scripture that is written is still being debated.
everything from our current english written version of the bible, to the scriptures they came from in foreign tongue is still being debated.
i'll also state that i'm not very religious, i stay rather ignorant and don't bother prioritizing these questions often. (i'm not looking down on you to be more specific)
i just settle with death anxiety.
