You should vote Democrat, they are fighting for universal healthcare. Your dad doesn't have to have a shitty employee insurance plan, as if whatever place he works are also experts at navigating health care policy and can beat Anthem, Humana, Aetna, at their own game. Lol.

Japan's government negotiates the price of all procedures available and has them available to the public and as a result you can get an MRI there for under $100 USD when they're thousands of dollars here.

S O C I A L I S M lol

Had to pay a fee for being a mooch on the rest of us for using the emergency room as your health insurance plan :p You're the reason your dad got price gouged and didn't get a five-finger discount.

My wife had intractable headaches and migraines and we had one ordered to rule out any neurocognitive issues as desired by the MD and it was over $2k. We have top-tier health insurance.

I can go to the VA and usually do when I need any healthcare. The service is terrible but I don't get sodomized by Anthem.

first, "democrat" health plans are what put us in this predicament. (thanks obama)
second, my father is self-employed.
third, how are we the mooch if we have to pay "more" for emergency care and also pay a yearly "fee" to provide you with healthcare and not us?

the price-gouging was about lack of transparency
you want to try to make things personal, i'll come to your lvl real quick

yeah its no surprise commie skinned the junior boomer says “vote for democrats” as a solution, when most of the doctors/groups in the op are likely (D) voters/donors. such groups are #resisting pricing transparency put forth by a republican President

opinions are fine. cracking jokes at my dads expense will not be tolerated by me.
that's really all there is to it

i have my own opinions about healthcare, but i'm not going to use anyone's family to move my agenda while subtly mocking them.

M4A is completely different than obamacare. obamacare is still a democratic health-plan though. i don't believe i've misunderstood anything

With big pharma and hospital corporatism you’re not gonna see any price transparency

Nothing is being done to limit their hand(s)at the table

>1/2 the people walking around a given hospital are middle management now. The paradigm has shifted so much over the last 30 years.

No problem->invent a problem -> complicate the problem-> convoluted fix requiring even more party members -> more problems -> repeat exponentially

30 years later doesn’t matter if it’s single payer or private, cost of healthcare has become unfathomably and unreasonably expensive

attacking people’s family members is something commie skinned uses as a normal mechanism when he cannot win an argument through reason or logic. just be glad he didnt drag anyones children into it (yet)

Skinned was advocating universal healthcare, not obamacare.

I applaud the free market stopping government overreach. If people don't like not having access to prices they will go to different hospitals

Transparency is a key requirement for functioning free markets.
