A huge chunk of homeless persons have big personal or social issues which make it nearly impossible to create a peaceful and stable neighborhood.

Some social issues are extremely difficult to fix. Throwing more money at something doesn't change the underlying issues much of the time. Many people that are homeless also have mental issues. These mental issues can be somewhat treated but you still need cooperation/willingness from that person. You can't just force homeless people on psychotics. You can't force homeless people into facilities they don't want to be in. You can't force drug treatments/rehab. No matter how much money you throw at it some of these things are nearly unfixable.

One of her liberal neighbors should have been kind and caring enough to sublet for her.

Age is irrelevant in this scenario. If you owned the rental and your tenant refused to pay rent and refused to leave, you're going to want them out.

At her age shes been collecting social security and medicare for decades. There is no excuse for this behavior unless she is medically delusional.

If folks just voted in... euthanasia, there would be a lot less old people.
But there seems to be some sick, twisted reasoning behind: "no you can't be... put to sleep". It's almost like, everyone HAS to suffer till the very last day possible.

We socially acceptably allow dogs and cats to be "put to sleep", but not people. Oh no... people have to suffer for as long as possible.
