its impressive how much amount of 'effort' this guy put into such a failed attack and how incredibly incompetent he was
for example, everyone was commenting on his blunderbuss-esque homemade weapon that was jamming and emitting clouds of smoke, he posted pictures of just what he was creating;



he says he created them by taking the powder out of firecrackers, explaining both why it put out so much smoke, why it jammed and illustrating his idiocy

i'm just glad that he had to build his own firearms, and didn't have basically unrestricted and easy access to an arsenal of semi-automatic rifles.

you'd think that'd take the wind out of the sails of the 'it's just as easy to kill people by other means' crowd, even though it demonstrably isn't - especially since people like that seem to be on the less fortunate side when it comes to the old brains department - but i already see the excuses: what he 'could', 'should', and 'might' have done, that the tools he chose have nothing to do with it, bla bla bla...

lol. nothing makes me smile more than the use of "semi automatic" as if it is supposed to mean just about anything...

"hey that guy has a gun, o wait it's just a pump action shotgun with a dual action revolver on his hip. thank god, we're safe".

His gun being semi-automatic is one of the reasons why several people survived, because it jammed while he was trying to kill them.

the usual hacks hiding behind terminology (wrongly in this case, as semi-automatic rifles as they are commonly sold in america are simply more efficient at killing many people in a short time than a pump action shotgun for example - even if it obviously makes no difference for the first victim, you brainwashed nra tools) to deflect from a basic truth they don't want to face.

obligatory "i'm pro gun control" "i wish we didnt have so many guns around" "many people who own guns are irresponsible" etc

in europe, sure. because you guys actually have single shot guns as a common thing. in the USA "semi automatic" is a buzzword to scare liberals ignorant of firearms. Many people dont even realize almost all rifles are semi automatic and that almost all handguns are too. for a long time it was connected to "assault weapons" for maximum effect.

and of course in this context if he had a pump he'd have killed more. jams are good some time, he was prob using shitty federal ammo. serves him right.
