This is about signs. I was in Chinatown in SF 25 years ago... still working construction. Had to find an apt. complex address in Chinatown.
The street signs were in Chinese... ONLY.

Here I am, in the country I was born and raised in... and I can't read the street signs. Fuck that shyt!

what if the government instead forced something not so reactionary like forcing you to use preferred pronouns. controlling language isn't acceptable as it changes how you think, there's a reason the first amendment is important.

I feel the same way about the business signs in the US. They should be in English. I don't care if it is a private business. You want to run it in the US, the signs best be in English.

here's how I'll put it I would prefer to see every sign in English so I can read it but I don't want to enforce this by law because it's directly opposing the first amendment and what it stands for
