Before you feel too bad for him just remember he's made a career out of helping violent far right cunts to dox, track down and assault people resulting in one girl getting a broken neck at the hands of his proud boy chums... And that's not to mention him calling attacks on LGBT people hoaxes - with special attention given to those committed by, again, his proud boy chums. Crimes they've gloated about committing openly.

i'm just glad to see that the majority of 'the left' denounces such actions, and doesn't encourage violence like very many (and prominent) people on 'the right' do. injuring people like that (or even worse) obviously isn't the solution - and it also feeds the ridiculous 'b-b-but both sides do it, so it's equal / somehow excusable' narrative...

yes or cause serious long term injury

whenever there is a mob and a person in the middle getting shit sprayed or thrown at them it doesn't matter what the person in the middle did all of those on the outside contributing to it in any way from smiling to throwing are in the wrong

masks should not be allowed in public spaces. mask wearing thugs should be ridden down by cavalry officers, pepper sprayed to the point of near suffocation, stripped to underwear and zip-tied to bake in the hot sun for a few hours while the boys in blue tip back a few cold ones to celebrate their good work.
