'Security agreement' 'trading relationships'
Those are words that connotate our global military presence is positive. If you have some evidence that he wants to reduce military spending or roll back on being the world policeman, by all means, change my mind man.
i run into this issue regularly on PARD when i try to provide a perspective that isn't mine or context of reality, it gets taken for support every time.
MAYBE Beto is a globalist hawk, or maybe he's simply looking at reality. We have a country that is in many ways arguably outside the scope of the constitution. we have skirted that by accepting property from countries and just applying our own constitution to the square block of w/e the embassy sits on. but that's far from a perfect system.
to close, as i know you're focused on Chinese intellectual property theft, out constitution gives us zero power to do anything directly with foreign trade partners like China. there are only 3 solutions, annex china, indirectly steer them in the right direction through trade levies, or both nations become partially subservient to a board like the UN that oversees such matters that can apply direct penalties.
i dont need evidence because im not making a biased claim based on 2 small phrases from a single part of a single interview in text form, fender.

Supporting NATO and other military partnerships around the world =/= supporting costly foreign interventions and an inflated defense budget.
you're just not a dog man, u can't hear the whistle.....
