WW2 is honestly the most absurd part of human history there is. Within a span of 15 years, 70 or more million people died from the war.

To put this into perspective , more people died in this war than how many Natives died during colonization over a 200+ year time period or close to it since there are pretty sporadic estimates of how large the native population was.

You can combine the 100 years of war in China during the Three Kingdoms war and the Mongolian Conquests that were 100 year and hundreds of years to reach the same death count.

But almost all of the deaths of WW2 occur within 6 years. And since this war, there hasn't been a major war since.

But here you are moping about the fact Jews try to honor their memories of the war and push for a brighter future.
