The EU is a trading block, I don't care whether British politicians or ones in Brussels make laws pertaining to the regulation of goods and services. I voted stay

ill bet this

post to confirm

You make it sound like the only laws coming from Brussels are about potatoes.

300000+ people a year is unmanageable. And the other way to deal with that is leaving. It's that simple. We are an island that already has a higher person/sq mile than most other big countries in Europe.

Eventually, we run out of space, infrastructure and services.

Oh wow, it's this argument again.

Run out of space? Debatable. There's countries twice as densely populated as yours that work just fine.

Infrastructure and services? I'm not sure where you get that idea. More people means you have more people available to provide services. Just as long as you have a half decent government, you can scale infrastructure and services up to any population size.

Norway does brilliantly in terms of trade with other countries and they aren't stiffled by eurocrats with their excessive regulations.

Britain will fall temporarily but they will bounce back in no time. How little faith you have in your own country haha

The reason this argument keeps popping up is because there is still no way of dealing with it.

When population grows at such a rate, while money provided to services (like the police) gets reduced, then how can we possibly have the same service as before?

Have you tried getting a police officer to come out to a burglary lately? Not going to happen. Some guy watched people breaking in and stealing from his business LIVE and the police didn't have anyone available because of "budget cuts"

So either the money is put back into services, which isn't going to happen, or the flow of hundreds of thousands of people slows down.

300000 people is almost half the size of my city. Every. Single. Year.

In 2014 you had a birth rate of 12.22 births per 1,000 inhabitants. That's 794,300 births. Every. Single. Year. How does your country deal with that?

The problem isn't growth of your population. The problem is that your government isn't scaling its services accordingly to the need of these services.

The country deals with that by having babies spread across the entire country. Not localised in areas that are seen to be welcoming to foreigners.

In the end, your opinion of it will come down to how it's effecting you. The little village I live in has been told they need 5000 extra homes. So now everytime a pub closes down, bam a block of flats, everytime Greenland becomes available, bam a few hundred new homes. All the while this being in a village that was never designed to hold such numbers, so schools, roads, everything becomes a problem.

And it's okay to say "LOL you upgrade roads stupid, you build more schools stupid LOL idiots" this isn't a fucking sims game where you can just click a button and it's done, the infrastructure isn't there, to upgrade roads you have to displace people, which causes more houses being built, which causes more upgrades needed.

It's a vicious cycle of trouble caused by an imbalance of free movement.

Just because you're okay, doesn't mean everyone is, so stop dismissing their problems out of hand you arrogant fool.

Brits aren't ready for sovereignty... they've declined as a society too much.

Do you seriously think that I am not aware of the problems caused by all of this? As in, do you think that there's anything you just described that I don't get to deal with in my everyday life?

I do not see how I am an "arrogant fool" for pointing out that it's a government's responsibility to work on the scalability of its infrastructure. If it is impossible, why are some countries succeeding at it?
