If a person does not trust the bible, then why would they trust the bible when it says 500 people witnessed the event? Did this even cross your mind?:

As you can see, there are no close seconds. We have heard of Aristotle and Juluis Caesar I'm sure. They had less copies of literature and their accounts were written over 1000 years after their time.
There are many independent surviving documents that discuss Julius Ceasar, written when he was alive.

If the original is untrustworthy (remember you addressed this to people who think the bible is untrustworthy), then the copies are likely untrustworthy, no matter how many you make.....

You are conflating the doubt people have that the bible is accurate, with the belief that the bible does not exist. And I've never heard anyone make the (seemingly crazy) argument that there is no such thing as the bible.
