Your disdain for education is obvious in the way that you are clearly poor at the use of logic, or what I would call a "Bullshit detector."  :(  Education helps people to avoid adopting contradictory and stupid ideologies.

The central idea of everything being one is interesting and aligns with my own beliefs, for the record.  But the conclusions that book draws ("Plants are like your legs and you're connected to your legs, thus you're connected to plants" for instance) are literally logically inconsistent.  I can't remember the exact name of the fallacy, but that's a literal logical fallacy.  There are much, much more internally consistent and intelligent philosophies that can get you closer to understanding the truth.

Here's an excellent example: http://www.kybalion.org/TheKybalion.pdf

I did not read much yet, but here is what I can say about what you linked : it is not really about the present/truth/life, it is about history of religions/phylosophy --> I do not really care it is not such a big deal.
I only care about the present and how this society is fucked up... and about what we can do to change this in order to build a better world where mankind is united instead of divided.
Everything that is not about the present/truth/life, or constructive ideas to change the collective mind that is currently fucked up will be ignored from now on.

lol, you have no idea what it's about and you're too lazy to actually read it or apply any of it. That's cool, I guess, but it certainly makes you a hell of a hypocrite.

Wait, the book is proposing a metaphysical monism? The part that I read was dualistic (in one of the OP's other posts). This seems inconsistent.

Also, with regards to:
"I do not want to debate about truth, this is not the purpose of this thread... There is nothing to debate about, the purpose of this thread is to share truthful things I found (or you found).
So on this new thread I will mostly post quotes from The Present, or interresting (truthful) music/videos/quotes (from other sources) that I find... I find new intesrresting stuff almost every days (almost because I do not always have time to seek).
If you also have some truthful things to share, it is open of course."

Any "truth" that cannot be challenged and questioned is not in fact "true", it is simply a strongly held belief or Dogma. If the "truth" you wish to share is true, it will stand and be stronger if it survives rigorous questioning (debate). I've read through your post, and I'm sticking to my claim that it doesn't appear you are putting forth any kind of "truth" but are simply promoting some book. If you want to put the main ideas and arguments of the book out here for us to openly discuss, it would be a much more productive approach. Don't just throw a bunch of quotes up, if you must use them give sow background and context, and tie them to some idea.

I'll be willing to take whatever it is you are so excited to share with us seriously if you do some of this. You will also get some (not all there will still be trolls ofc) people actually engaged and involved with the material.

Let me remind you all one LAST time what is the truth.
The truth is that which is.
The truth is life, the present moment.
Your perception of truth is NOT the truth.
What you think is not what is... You are NOT your mind, you are the spirit listening to it and your other senses.

Some believe our perception of the life is the truth, and that we all have a different truth. This would mean there are 7 billions of different truths in this world ? How mankind could unite in that case ? It is actually the kind of beliefs that divided us, and justified a lot of wars.
Everyone has a different environment and perception, but it doesnt change the truth.
The truth is actually what is right for everyone. Only the truth can unite us and bring equality to this world.
Quote
Perception is everything when it comes to how we see and live in the world, but perception does not determine truth, by definition. Perception can be false, truth cannot. Perception changes, truth does not. No one determines truth; truth "is", regardless of what we perceive. Our task is to align our perception with "that which is".

2+2=4... After a maths exam, you can debate with the teacher as long as you want, it does not change the fact there is only one good result.
You can pretend Paris is in Germany, it will still not be true.

Everything I just wrote or quote (except mike14e) is not subject to debate, it is the truth and will remain the truth no matter what you think.
That said, it is not a closed thread : if you have thoughts, quotes, music, books or anything to share on this topic (the truth/life/present moment), this is what I am waiting for.
I am sorry it can be so hard to accept, most of you will believe I am crazy (well, most already do anyway), but it is just the truth.

If you do not have anything to share about this topic, I will consider your posts as a free bump.

And once again, you spew dogma instead of being willing to accept the fact that all of the answers to life, the universe and everything might not exist within a single book, and that it might take more than reading one book to be educated about spirituality.

Which is exactly the whole problem. You are a knee-jerk dogmatist who will never be able to accept the truth, because you are lazy and you want to think that you already have it in your hand. Your brand of bullshit is nothing more than lazy entitlement, it holds back the human race, and it should be challenged and mocked for the stupidity that it is, at every turn.

Dogma is the problem, not the solution.
