That's a good thing. Although some might view you with authority to the bible, I'm sure no one views me as an authority on the bible, and, therefore, when I say I have a theory, it's most likely just nonsense coming from me from their point of view. Regardless, if I state my theory, then it will most likely arouse interest and skepticism, which is a good thing. I enjoy people looking at subjects and thinking critically about them. It's a process of individuation and refining your own viewpoints and understanding of your religion.
Sometimes the experts are just wrong.
