So really they just discriminate against atheists and non-heterosexual non-cisgender males. They barely tolerate Muslims, Buddhists, and I'm not even sure the organization has support for Hindus.

Shame because the BSA is better than public schools for teaching people life skills.


Venture and sea scouts take women as well. All religions, and just a generic belief in a god are acceptable. There were several atheists in my troop, they just couldn't become eagle scouts easily.

...i've been posting here for quite a while and seem to have missed the sexual tension you speak of :blink:

....I really don't see politics and religion as erotic or sexually stimulating but then again I'm not an Obama fanboy .

Do you have a point here? Because to me it looks like you just hate gays. Rather than help them and swing them the other way, you'd rather keep them out of the organization altogether. I bet you don't think non-Christians should be allowed at your church either?

Who cares about the boy scouts or girls scouts. Regardless of who they let in, I would never let my child join them or a similar organization.

What do you have against them? It opened my eyes to a lot of stuff in nature. During my years in Scouting, I managed to rack up over 500 backpacking miles.
