so what is the alternative? make it a 2 year job only while goin to class get a better job..we need make it 2 years only after that if no mistakes they allowed carry a gun and help others when needed...unless a few cases of abuse of power and their gun rights is revoked...soon if small town all had training any carry gun world much safer and no one would hate police having been there themselfs

I am going make policing my carrier I call BS that is no carrier unless you live in a police statetime change this!!!! leads to abuse and corruption...do away with most prisons turn them into free colleges ..sorry gaurd time for you get a real job...and police man you did your 2 years hoped they teach you more then policing others by then bye bye..this policy is only way stop corruption..and make it a safer world to live in..

You're assuming there's a lot of police corruption. It's only problematic in large cities. Specifically, New York and L.A. Although, L.A. has cleaned up a bit over the years.

It would do nothing more than add another huge financial burden on cities which have to constantly train new people... and make law enforcement a very unattractive profession so the cities would have a very hard time finding people to fill those roles, and would end up with far less qualified officers (and thus more corruption and abuse, not less)

if half the population was police at 1 time there would be little crime and almost no prisons needed as we shoot them when they commiting a crime..
