And sometimes, its just impossible for us to admit that someone was right all along.
Its why Pepsi will never again get suckered into a blind taste test against Coke

what are you referring to?

Fidel Castro talks sense here.

No matter the source.

Fidel Castro has always talked sense.
At least, relatively more sense then the people who were speaking against him.
Which of course means virtually nothing- Fidel is still a silly bastard, but he's less silly than the other bastards

He was ahead of the curve, and we're only catching up to him now he's on his deathbed?

Ah, I guess propping up military dictators and ruling through fear, violence, assassinations and torture in South America worked for us back in the day, but we can disavow it now.

What military dictators are we propping up in South America currently then?

Ever since we started fucking with the Middle East we've left them alone for the most part.

Give credit where credit's due.
He's right, of course.
But it's not a new idea.

I'm sure you've read everything inside and outside of Ron Paul's pants, but you gotta give 'Fidel some credit on hitting both the devalueization of the dollar and American nuclear diplomacy in one fell swoop
It could probably fool an opportunist bandwagon jumper who is insincere, like Santara.

most people that i know that join the liberty/libertarian movement don't do so as a bandwagon effect. Serious research goes into it.

It's a different kind of movement than the ones built on platitudes, like that of Occupy.
