No. Didn't we learn something from creatin Israel? Giving them a country would just cause another problem in the middle east, Iraq and Turkey have no reason to give away their land so some people can have their country, juskt like the palestinians.

Interesting viewpoint, though I'd like to believe Kurdistan would be different (they already essentially exist in the area of where a future Kurdistan should be) there may definitely be similar problems that arise but we can be hopeful though the US and other countries should keep out and let the countries involved decide on the matter. All I can predict is that they will all be killed eventually. I would like to see them set up as their own country and granted assistance by the USA in order to save lives and preserve peace.

maybe that comment about you being brainwashed (and thereby not being able to think clearly) made by someone else is true
iraqi kurdistan (which is only a small part of kurdistan) has been a semi-autonomous area for some time (prior to the last invasion)
and beyond being semi-autonomous they do not have a government seperate from iraq
have a guess: did the kurds vote in the iraqi election?
your statement is just a s logical as saying that the us army will conquer texas or puerto rico

just in case you do not know
there are twice as many kurds in turkey than in iraq
and roughly the same number of kurds in iran as there are in iraq
and there are plenty in syria and some other countries

what will the declaration of an independent kurdish state do for regional politics?

(note: why is the northern part of iraq looking nicer than the rest? maybe less bombing by foreign nations?)
