Mezandria is right. Marcuz gets away with spamming. Theres probably nothing that is going to change that. It's clear what side njaguar is on, as well as the other moderators. The existence of the new forum means they can get away with their spam somewhere else, and all those who regularly browse PaRD can just ignore it. It really isn't that hard.
On the other hand, azrad was definitely trolling. Does it deserve a punishment? Probably not as it happens everywhere, as the rules aren't really enforced in this subforum.
The point is that- whether or not it is going to change- this IS a case of discrimination however you look at it. You see it everywhere in real life, not just gaming websites like this one. People who are in power tend to abuse that power to satisfy their every whim, whether it is because they disagree with someone else's beliefs or decide not to follow their own rules- it is still an abuse of power. They say with great power comes great responsibility, and just because this is a small matter only confined to a gaming website doesn't mean that we should turn a blind eye to it because it is convenient to do so. Take our country for example, our leaders only have power because we
exist, because we grant them that power. If the so-called 'common' people did not exist in our country then the politicians would have no-one to take their power from. There would BE no point to the position of president, because it is our vast social network that supports this position.
This website is no different. There are people that have a greater position of authority, but within that authority is implied that there must be members who support those in power... here it happens to be fg donations, posts, number of members, ect. Just myself alone- I have had at least 18k fg go in and out of my account, which roughly equals out to $585 in donations to the site owner. And compared to many other users on this site, I am just a flea on the back of a mammoth, so to speak. But in being a part of the site, I do help support it and I WILL stand up for my values of right and wrong in this matter. It is wrong in my opinion to create a subforum only for Christians because it gives Christians preferential treatment over the many other religions that members on this website practice. It is wrong to punish someone for disagreeing with someone else's beliefs, as long as it is not hurting said person. It is wrong to discriminate on the basis of a person's beliefs.
