Yeah dude, the 2012 thing may be the next Y2K crap...All that will happen for sure on 2012 is the next solar polar shift.
Applied to the Timewave Zero, Y2k had no increase in novelty whereas the Dec. 2012 date shows increase in novelty spiking towards infinity. Just a thought on that.
Assumptions about 2012 are just that, assumptions. What we can speculate at this time, however, is that a formula for a fractal time does in fact exist. Within this graph (Timewave Zero) you can visually see spikes in terms of chaos or novelty which occur at specific points in history. There have already been many of these spikes during certain specific events in history such as major wars, great discoveries, etc. I personally believe that the existence of fractals in the first place is an astounding observation made by mankind. Since a fractal is considered to be a self-similar form, I would propose the idea that the mere existence of such a form would suggest that it is apparent in everything around us to a degree. Because of the fact that a fractal is perceived to be infinite, in essence, each fractal is part of a giant universal fractal which in turn breaks down into an algorithm. When applied, this algorithm should be able to see the underlying dynamics of chaos or energy that is in constant motion within this reality. It's almost like a blueprint when set in motion.
Anyway, nobody knows right now but I believe that following this train of thought may open up possibilities for mankind that we never imagined were possible. At least in the end it's all very interesting. I'll have to check this book out for sure.
If anybody is interested, I have a copy of what I believe is the Timewave Zero graph/program. You just need to understand the math behind it to input information to use it successfully, unfortunately math was never my strong point. Maybe somebody could use it effectively? I think it'd be very interesting to see it in action.
