He invited Carlson for a friendly meeting, made him feel valued, posed for smiling photos with him, and during the friendly exchanges allegedly passed along what appeared to be classified information so Carlson would relay it to his contacts in Iran.
According to the claim, Trump used Carlson as a channel to feed the Iranians false and misleading information. The exact information is unknown, but the leading speculation was that there would be no strike on Saturday.
