How do you define 'American'? Being born in America?

Being born in America, rightfully gaining citizenship.

Perm res and non-perm residents are not Americans, they are just working their way towards it.

Pretty sure citizenship is the standard of having that nationality.

The Native Americans are the true Americans. You are referring to civilisation, which was brought by the British Empire, and the founding of the United States, which was done by those of British descent.

Britain brought civilisation to much of the world, but that doesn't make its descendants entitled to the land they took.

White Americans today are a melting pot of WASPs, Italians, Irish, German, Eastern Europeans...they are not descendants of those who brought civilisation or who founded the United States.

European countries can legitimately claim that their citizens should only be those descended from their countries, but "White Americans" have no claim to anything.

Imagine taking a single instance in the past and using that as a reference for how the country should be now. The country is as it currently dictates, these idiots that can only see 100s of years in the past and not the present are clearly lesser.
