No I prefer a republican governor in my state. But possibly for president if I like what they’re offering.

The democrat governor running for my state was very gun grabby.

Also I don’t consider being arrested over Facebook posts to be “functioning just fine”

How do guns help with different laws about free speach?

I think that the sheer number of guns and gun owners in our country serve to at least keep the government a little bit in check. Outside of our government bombing ourselves and ruining the entire country, I don’t think they would stand a chance against 150 million armed citizens - and they know it.

Of course they’re also used for sport and self defense but that wasn’t the main point of the 2nd amendment.
