The "dumb" part is making assumptions without knowing what you're talking about. For example, if I said "you must be a poor redneck living in a trailer" that would make me dumb because there's no evidence that you are like that.

What would you choose if forced to pick between:
1. A US president born in the US, is a citizen, but is Chinese or Iranian
2. A US president not born in the US, not a citizen, but is white

I wouldn't choose either one.
Also, you see the difference too, its even in how you word your question.
If it was just about where they are born, you would have called them American and not Chinese or Iranian.

But most Iranians are Persians.
There are Persians in several other counties.
Are they Iranian as well or just the Persians in Iran?
