I used to be vehemently against smoking, gambling, and hell even hard alcohol like everclear. But fuck it. If people wanna fuck up thier own lives beyond repair, let them install all the hoses in thier necks and take out all the payday loans they want.

problem is government is just another dirtbag game. i was fortunate to never of had a gambling problem. even though i did end up with other problems mostly booze. the only answe r i found that works is in repentance and forgiveness following the teachings of Christ. some laugh and scoff "magic sky daddy" does feel like magic i am so happy to be free of vices like booze n tobacco close to 10 yeas clean its still hard to believe.

this isn't a topic to have apathy on, it vastly does more harm than good(one could argue even the "good" scenarios are detrimental to society pretty easily), and unlike smoking or drinking which the user typically is well aware of the risks, gambling does not have to be held under the same scrutiny. I don't care if someone makes the decision to gamble and loses their life savings and does so intentionally, they simply should not ever have the option to do so. I would be vastly in favor of gambling of real currency in all forms being made strictly illegal in the united states, the amount of money the average person simply just throws away into a greedy very awful company that's sole success is scamming people and destroying lives quite literally pisses me off.
