You can't have it both ways. There's plenty in the bible that is unsuited for children to read or hear about. So no, I would never propose such an insane idea. I just use the Catholics as a good example of the double standard of conservatives. They seem to want to go after a very small group, instead of a far larger and more powerful group that we know for a FACT, abuses children.

But here's the thing: I know most Catholics do not condone the vile behavior of those priests.

Instead of generalizing any group of people or religion we should look for behavior on of individuals and punish those individuals, and the individuals that enable their abuse.

Unless of course you do believe religion should be forbidden to be taught to children because it can be viewed as grooming? You don't actually need to look far to see this in practice. Look at the Mormons. It can be used for grooming.
