Not sure who needs to hear it but It’s not really about population.

Mostly about technology, military spending, correct training, battlefield systems, etc.

US military budget is $900 billion, EU spends $300 billion, just to compare one factor.

Also, Polish PM is an idiot and (even for a politician’s standards) liar. Not to mention he doesn’t seem to serve Polish interests, to say the least…

My impression is Poland has one of the most far right Polish citizen focused government relative to other EU states. They greenlight to shoot aggressive illegal border crossing. Leader gets sound bites on news often ripping into EU policy often. Greater EU casts them in a racist xenophobic light as they hold the line.

Well, let’s just say that his policies seem to serve Germany better than they serve Poland Mostly about dismantling Polish industry and country-wide plans where they are in conflict with German interest. Also pushing towards further EU integration. He’s believed by many Poles to be a German intelligence asset.

His tune had to change recently, because there are presidential elections in 3 months and he wants his candidate to win. But that’s just for PR.
