Obviously I don't know what conversations were had and greater minds than myself clearly came to the conclusion that she should be the replacement, but I don't understand how they came to that overall conclusion.

Anyways, history now. And ultimately perhaps a good thing since now they can and should reinvent themselves.

Everyone who knew who Kamala Harris was, knew she would be no better a candidate than Joe Biden post debate.
It was just switching a Senile candidate, out for unbearably stupid one.
The excuse for making her the candidate was so myopic in retrospect, they needed the $180 million dollars from the Biden campaign or whatever.

theres some good articles on left-leaning voters and their polling exit data, idk how big the margin of error is but nearly 1/3 of Dems refused their vote because of her Gaza policies

for me, personally, thats all she had to do. stop Blinken the Butcher and Genocide Joe

im sure if you added the didnt vote for harris due to gaza stance number to her total things would have been interesting vs a landslide. but in politics and actions has a 2 pronged reaction. she might have scared off as many votes as she gained. or at least enough that she still resoundingly loses. she was just up against a brick wall, she had no traction and couldnt gain any.

Joe Biden. then for about 2 years tried and failed to convince everyone he was better. i think they goofed up a lot in the Harris-Waltz Campaign, dont get me wrong, but i honestly think those mistakes are tiny compared to the colossal monolith of a mistake that it was to run Biden again in 2024. his debate performance and speeches were so bad that they made the conservative heavily editted attacks on his mental decline look mild. honestly one of the first times i can remember maga not being a hyperbolic bunch on an issue. he really was as bad and worse than they even said, and every white house staffer knew it. i bet the janitors knew his light wasn't on anymore. they literally and i mean literally tried to run a Manchurian candidate mixed with my weekend at bernies. wild stuff.
