Your child is your own, even if you're in the US illegally. Once their status as the actual parents is established, they are welcome to take their child with them back to their nation of origin. And that has ALWAYS been the case.

The entire use that "anchor babies" have been utilized for is so that "parents" can come into the nation, because "You can't deport a citizen, but if you deport the parents, the child will be an orphan!" Not true. The Illegal Aliens can take their child with them, and always could. And because of the completely bullshit birthright status of the child, the child will be free to return to the US whenever they hit adulthood (18). That simply wasn't good enough for those pushing foreign invasion, which was a very murky start towards what got us to today.

Sadly I think the woke cult is pretty far entrenched into the gaming industry. Transgender hormones hit the nerd/gamer demographic like crack hit the black demographic. There's no going back for alot of these people but I think, in a bit of time, the industry will correct itself from the resulting market forces. But new talent is going to have to enter

The problem really isn't even the entrenchment. It's centered around funding. A rather huge amount of money has been set aside by a ton of foundations to be put towards "woke" game making.

Even if you kick every single DEI hire and every other useless hanger on from the big studios, thousands of new games will still pop up from kick starters claiming to be A1 games, or even S Tier, that are really just preachy LGBTQXYG disasters.

Long term it's quite possible larger studios like Blizzard, Bethesda, EA, etc. get rid of all the useless trash hires that've been losing them money, and get back to making games with the intent that they'll be FUN. But even then, the "subversive" content will still come out almost non-stop.

Even with funding getting back on track, the companies are still run by the same people. Conservatives have all LONG since been purged from the industry, a few of them may come back, but the majority have moved on with their lives. This is what I mean when I say new blood will be needed. I agree with your assessment. It will take time for the AAA studios to get back on track but it's really only possible for those behemoths. The small studios run entirely by woke idiots are doomed.

If you're looking for games that are about total immersion, not modern day bullshit, I might recommend The Critical Drinker, HellVsBabyface, or Geeks & Gamers on youtube. They review a LOT of games, and can give a good idea what to expect.

It's been over 20 years since SJWs infested the gaming industry, so I get how it feels like they can never be rooted out. But several dozen REALLY good games came out in 2024, with no "woke" in them at all. It's just about finding them past all the trash.

Edit: There were also a bunch of good movies and shows that came out in 2024. Add Nerdrotic to that streamer review list and they can clue you into those as well. As I said, it's not about entrenchment, it's about endless funding being funneled in. Doesn't matter if the SJWs can maintain their stranglehold on ONE IP. Instead, it's about sheer volume. Their assumption is that if the overwhelming majority of what everyone sees is woke, pretty soon everyone will become woke because it's all they see.

I've never played Elden Ring, but I have found at a minimum subversive woke messenging in every game I've played recently. But I don't play many.

Fallout 1 (1997) and Fallout 2 (1998) both had "gayness" as an option. As did Fallout 4. The primary difference is the "gayness" was never required in the Fallout series. You aren't REQUIRED to seduce the same sex.

But to answer your question: NO. Homosexuality has been part of video games for 30 years. And most other SJW or "woke" topics have as well, as well as the politics of that current day. The difference is, when pulling up lists of 90's and 2000's games you MUST try out, all the trash has already been filtered out. Like, there were umpteen thousand games released in the 90's. You play more than a dozen of them? Same with the 00's. How many of those? Today, you have thousands of games being released per month, all the way from simpler idlers and arcade style games to massive studio games. So it's really just a "drowning in shit" scenario. Unless you want to wait for the curated list of "Best games of the 2020's" to come out sometime around 2032, better to find game reviewers who enjoy similar games to you and wait for their recommendation.
