Should I be more upset that Elon Musk put his hand on his heart and gestured out to the crowd saying "My heart goes out to you" in a way that somewhat superficially resembled a nazi salute
or
Should I care more that the Biden administration locked a black guy in prison for 20 years for the sole action of organizing a political protest, one that he didn't attend nor have any direct control over, protesting against Biden's inauguration. And it took Donald Trump being elected to set free one of the only people in American history to be sent to prison on charges of 'seditious conspiracy' for petitioning their government for redress.

As an avowed civil libertarian, let me stew on this

Or I could be a sane level headed bloke and recognize that superficial resemblance and bad optics make zero fucking difference to anyone but an administration that locks its political opponents in prison for protesting has effectively repealed the first amendment
There's nothing to take issue with in the former case.

A sane person knows exactly what hes doing bro, don't try that. Come on, you can be serious. The guys intelligent enough to know. See my above post. Yes I am sure he did it to "trigger" people but that's a poor action regardless.

Everyone and their dog knows exactly what he was doing.

Don't be such a hack that would be a new low.

The reaction to this perfectly encapsulates why Trump won. The media taking something out of context for a click bait headline.

I didn't even vote for trump but you can see why he won. I'm curious if the media will eventually figure out that this doesn't work anymore.

plot twist, nobody other than the electoral college voted for Trump/Vance.

e- context: When you go to vote, you're voting to appoint electoral(s) to represent your state. They're not obligated to vote for the persons/party that the people desire.
