Racism is old hat, culturalism is the new hotness.
Its an obvious and explicable trend for immigrants from regressive and deprived cultures to become criminals, welfare leeches and form insular enclaves. You bring Somalis to America and they continue their very Somali culture of grift, scamming, crime and enclaves. You bring South/Central Americans and Indians who are seeking to live the American dream as hard working taxpayers looking to integrate into our culture and they do exactly that. There are cultures around the world that are vehemently opposed to our own, have no intention to integrate or obey our laws. And there are those who work harder and integrate faster than almost any of the european immigrants of the 19th and 20th centuries. It doesn't generally break down along racial lines, but sure does among cultural lines.

Some people took the opportunity to give back to our country, work hard, and make a life here paying their own way. Those are the fringe minority of them

Alot of those foreign cultures are still largely or explicitly hereditary caste systems - which makes the lower caste genetically divergent from the upper caste (e.g. Brahman Indians) which isn't distinguishable from being a different race

That's being human. We, Europeans did it. Our history is built on pillaging as much as we can from other countires, we still do it. Minerals, oil, other raw materials for food, textiles, etc. We are built on the back of exploitation I am not sure why we expect the third world to treat us differently.

A substantial amount of our quality of life if due to the sufferage of another life. Do I live sad about that everyday, no I am thankful I was born on this side of the fence but I do acknowlage it. I also want to proect my side of the fence, but I dont put that on the immigrants, I put that to our government and leaders. Immigrants are just doing what we did and doing it in a way that is far less brutal than the way we do it.

How the people are brought in and integrated is a huge component. The Somali of MN you frequently bring up are largely consolidated to mass housing in St Paul which has a long history of bad ongoings Another cluster is in Rochester, arguably integrated better but undeniable some issues brought in especially with non-native and first genera. There is another pocket west of cities by St Cloud. Pretty sure they hated as much or more than Jews (St Cloud area has made news with neo Nazi crap)

Point is, the net result of migrant communities assimilating is a function of the culture they bring and the country implementation for absorbing them

With the South American wave under Biden, they are literally weaponized political pawns. I like to call it Biden's Modern Trail of Tears.

can speak as to how Singapore has race/nationality quotas in its housing which is mostly unobtainable otherwise, purposefully set up to prevent enclaves and keep people in multicultural communities.
