Thats a fair take, I don't know his background well, I have been listening to some of his takes on politics on games lately and I do think some of it is rather sound.
If I am to understand his background more , take it as some sort of grading and start viewing him in a bias lens, I would have done the same to people on both side of the political spectrum.

Which means you will not listen to left wing media to understand what they feel and how they come to certain conclusions. Which I think it is important.
However for the past 10 to 15 years it has been a complete downhill for the progressive left.

I think another major reason he won was also pent up grievance from the center right and right for the past 15 years.
There was graph showing somewhere I don't remember where, showing the amount of young people man especially since 2008 which majority supported the left and democrats and for the past couple of years, young man are turning right as a trend.

I think it will continue that way for a decade or so. In between a lot of social movements have cause young American / Western men to question themselves repeatedly. Trump is the byproduct of all these pent up frustrations and anger.
He took the opportunity and took the bet and he won. Twice.

Their definition of right is center left, center, center right, right and far right. There is no in-between. Young people are getting smarter by not giving in to extremists. I expect young women to follow the same pattern with 5-10y lag. Young white male is the group that was shafted the most by the radical left. The women will come to the realization when the majority of this generation will be between 35-40y old.

I agree with your statement. I think the progressive left have gone so far left in such a manner even center left and the "normal left" are considered right wing nowadays.
