i dont think i could of changed on my own as my condition was in need of a miracle

It’s been mentioned many times in the Bible that repentance is is the desire to change from your sinful ways and to turn to god. Basically you need a deliberate redirection in your future. Is someone truly repentant if they continue to do the things they asked forgiveness for?

i didnt quit drinking i was delivered from alcohol addiction
i didnt have the ability to change but i had the desire for change
